A number of employees at Premier Alliances are bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English. These employees are key members of our team, as they help translate information ranging from daily assignments to safety instructions for crew members that primarily speak Spanish.
As part of Premier Alliances ongoing efforts to provide educational opportunities to our employees, we recently hosted a course for bilingual employees to help enhance their instantaneous interpretation abilities. With instruction from Yvette Citizen, of Bilingual Citizen, LLC out of Tucson, these employees spent half the day reviewing the technical and ethical guidelines that come with providing translation services, as well as engaged in a few role-playing exercises to implement their new knowledge.
