Over the decade that Ricardo Arvizu has worked at Premier Alliances, Inc., he has become an indispensable part of the team.
“He’s the epitome of a great employee,” said Jeremy Smith, the project manager for Premier on Fort Huachuca. “He’s knows it all, top to bottom. He’s a great leader. He’s able to lead our Spanish-speaking crew.”
Coming from a varied job history that included everything from retail to construction, welding and equipment repair, Ricardo has since developed skills that make him capable of doing just about every job performed by the Fort Huachuca crew.
“I started on the weedeater. Now I use the heavy equipment, the lawnmowers. I dig the graves at the cemetery. I trim grass and care for the grounds,” he said. “I’m able to use all of the equipment.”
Ricardo said he enjoys working at Premier Alliances, as he gets along well with his co-workers and supervisors.
“All of the supervisors I’ve worked with have treated me well. It makes me comfortable working here,” he said.
Ricardo’s institutional knowledge of the tasks performed by the groundskeeping crew make him a valuable asset to the Premier Alliances team.
“Just the fact that he’s been here for that long, and showing up every day,” Jeremy said. “He’s skilled in every aspect that we may need here.”
