Premier Alliances, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created by members of the Bisbee community over 50 years ago, is proud to announce it has purchased the Print and Stitch custom design and embroidery business at 307 Arizona Street in Bisbee, AZ.
Premier Alliances believes this is a great opportunity to further its mission of improving the lives of people with disabilities by creating new employment opportunities for the diverse population that our organization has been serving since 1962.
The previous owner of Print and Stitch, Al Parrish, sold the business and assets to Premier Alliances in December, while long-time manager and key employee Hector Chavez has been retained by Premier Alliances to serve as store supervisor and has already begun to train two new hires that will help the business expand its services while improving upon existing relationships with clients throughout Cochise County and beyond.
“We are very excited to expand our presence in Bisbee once again, and look forward to the chance to serve our clients and customers in new, innovative ways,” said John Charley, CEO of Premier Alliances.
“I think this is going to be great, especially considering the folks that Premier Alliances is looking to help,” Parrish said.
Through its contracts to provide grounds maintenance services on Fort Huachuca and janitorial services at the Brian A. Terry Border Patrol Station outside Bisbee, Premier Alliances, Inc. provides gainful employment opportunities to dozens of individuals, more than 75 percent of which have a diagnosed disability.
The purchase of Print and Stitch, as well as future business development plans at our facility on Naco Highway, will allow Premier Alliances to expand employment and training opportunities to even more people in the months to come.
